Piping systems

Makronyl manufactures and installs pipe systems of synthetic materials for many applications:

• Ventilation and exhaust pipes
• Liquid pressure pipes
• Double-walled piping/tubing systems
• Ship’s piping and tubing

Ventilation and exhaust piping

Complete pipe networks for the extraction of (mostly slightly) chemical vapours, usually made of PVC, HDPE, PP or PPs. Makronyl can engineer the pipe network, but also supply it on the basis of your own drawing/design. We easily fit in components from our standard range of equipment, such as noise absorbers, (electrical) control valves, vapour seal valves, non-return valves, extractors and exhaust arms.

Pressure piping and tubing

Pressure piping and tubing are used for liquid transport. We will be happy to advise you on the choice of the material, based on the design conditions and the application. PVC(-C), Hdpe, PP or PVDF are current materials for pressure tubes. We test every pressure tube system that we install by means of a pressure test in order to guarantee leak tightness.

Double-walled pipe systems

Due to environmental and safety regulations, ever more double-walled systems are chosen for dosing systems for chemicals. The inner pipe is made of a material that is resistant against the chemicals to be transported. The outer pipe can be of the same material, but also a different material can be selected.

Makronyl works in general with three double-walled pipe systems: 
- +GF+ Contain-it-system: many materials possible for the inner pipe; a limited choice of materials for outer pipe.
- Agru system: only PP/-variants, same material for inner and outer pipe, to be connected by means of a butt weld.
- Our own Makronyl-system: Several options and combinations possible.

The double-walled pipe systems can easily be connected with our dosing cases, if this has been indicated beforehand.

Ship’s piping and tubing

We supply special parts, that are not available on the market as standard articles, to various yacht building yards. We can offer you engineers, that are used to install piping/tubing systems in ships according to your requirements. Any required thermoplastic material can be used.
