Makronyl has developed an enormous know-how in their almost 50 years of experience with synthetic materials. No doubt, the same goes for you too, in your own field. You desire that your know-how is treated discreetly. We perfectly understand that and therefore your product or design is in good hands with Makronyl. If you wish, we draft a secrecy agreement, together with you, and sign it.
Below you will find some examples of specifically developed know-how.
Engineering, design of constructions
Makronyl will be happy to check whether the construction or equipment that you need, can also be made of synthetic materials. We do the calculation work and if necessary, some engineering reseach about the feasibility.
The elaboration of your idea or sketch to a CAD-drawing or 3D drawing is possible.
Strenght calculations for tanks and containers
We have digital calculation programs at our disposal for the calculation of the strength of containers and tanks. For calculation of more complex forms and loads, we use the finite element method. For the production of tanks and containers our workshop has extrusion welding equipment and a computer controlled butt welder at its disposal.
Noise absorbers for exhaust systems
Calculations of the noise may be necessary for the determination of the correct noise absorbing measures. Makronyl has equipment to measure the noise, if necessary on site. We will be happy to give you advice. Often we can resolve your noise problem with one of our standard products.
Piping systems: selection and lay-out
Makronyl can design complete piping/tubing systems with the required dimensions, on the basis of air or liquid capacity and possible complementary wishes of our customers. If required, we can also advice on the selection of the best material for your application. This goes both for air / vapour systems as for (double-walled) liquid systems.
Ventilator capacity
Makronyl internally developed a calculation program for ventilators that concentrates on a working point of your choice (capacity and pressure) of the ventilator. With this program we can adapt some of the dimensions of our standard ventilator range and thus arrive at the required working point without the need of a V-belt drive or a frequency control.
Ventilator pressure/frequency control system
Makronyl developed a pressure/frequency control system. In systems with varying capacities, the under- or overpressure in a piping system can remain constant by using a pressure/frequency control system. This automatically controls the increase or decrease of the rotational speed of the blower, in function of the desired capacity. This system is normally used for exhaust systems for acid cabins with a capacity control.
